Buddharam Temple Fredrika

Buddharam Temple Fredrika is located near Fredrika in Åsele municipality. It is under construction and planned to become Europe’s largest Buddhist temple.

On the highest mountain in the surroundings are two beautiful statues overlooking the landscape of Lapland. Here you can meditate on one of the two great Buddha statues and enjoy the view. This is also the site of an annual Buddhist ceremony that is open to everyone to visit. From the top of the mountain you can take the meditation path to the temple.
